A Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
Size
Measures approx 9.25 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a small manufacturing "dimple" to the rim, shown in final picture, and a couple of very faint manufacturing ripples in the glass, which would not show up on camera. Mentioned for accuracy and nothing to worry about.
