Rare Galliano Ferro 1950s 42 pc Venetian Glass Stemware & Bowl Set
About the Item
A Magnificent and rare hand blown 42 piece set (not all shown) of Venetian glass stemware by Galliano Ferro circa 1950. After leaving Arte Vetraria Muranese (AVEM) which he co-founded in 1932, Galliano formed his own glass company on the island of Murano in 1955. The set is a pale amber color glass with applied teal glass accent stripes. Each piece has an octagon shape bowl atop a twisted glass bead at the top of the stem and a round base. The 42 piece set has 30 stem glasses, 6 bowls, 6 under plates, a wine bottle and water / wind carafe. All pieces are undamaged and not shown in photos. Shipping is from Italy.
