About the Item
We offer for sale a set of vintage glasses made in Italy between the 50s and 60s.
The set consists of 5 highball glasses, perfect for serving cocktails or fruit juices as the decorative motif would suggest.
Handcrafted and hand painted, these glasses are made of decorated white pottery, each one hosts a different decoration, which sees various fruit depicted with a naive and instinctive stroke.
The ceramic enamel recalls the gestures and the effect of colored pencils or wax crayons applied on a white sheet.
The design and stylization of the fruit such as watermelon, pear, lemons is exceptionally well done and the different customization for each cylinder in my opinion makes them perfect to use even as small vases.
These mid-20th century modern glasses are perfect for completing a 50s setting or for those who produce photographic and video content on food.
