Designed by Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga, the Jai glass is a striking expression of Venetian elegance and contemporary luxury. This set of six glasses is hand-blown by skilled Murano artisans into a refined cylindrical form, each piece finished with a platinum rim and accented with a hematite stone. The result is an object that seamlessly blends Italian glassmaking tradition with a modern spirit.
The inspiration for Jai came during Giberto’s travels to Jaipur, Rajasthan, where the designer envisioned incorporating semiprecious stones into glassware. Hematite, chosen for its steely blue shimmer, was selected to create a harmonious chromatic dialogue with the transparency of glass—bringing depth, contrast, and understated sophistication.
Perfectly versatile, the Jai glass is ideal for cocktails, aperitifs, or celebratory moments. It shines when kept in the freezer for a chilled vodka shot or an impeccably served Dry Martini, but is equally suited to everyday indulgence.
