About the Item
Designed by my daughter Arianna, this is absolute novelty in glass decoration.
She combined the black filigree with a tip of deep red color, ending the glass mosaic with aquamarine.
It's has a mix of many designers of the past, Gio Ponti's a canne finish, Dino Martens filigree and Fulvio Bianconi pezzati.
The result is a piece of art, almost a painting, on a glass tumbler. Vibrant colors and transparencies are making a wonderful play with light.
The name "mille papaveri rossi" translates in "a thousand of red poppies", it's also the title of a famous Italian song. Anthem of non-violence.
Signed by the artist. Made in Murano. Effetre canes and filigree.
