About the Item
A wonderful, large and heavy, blue & clear Maltese glass decorative "chalice" vase, with yellow speckles, and featuring a large, trailed knop to the stem. Made by Mdina, signed to the base. Originally designed by Michael Harris together with the Boffo brothers. Made in the 'Blue Summer' pattern range, also referred to by collectors as 'Sea and Sand'.
Please note, although referred to as a chalice, it is decorative only, as it is too large and heavy to be used as a drinking vessel.
