Stunning and rare, two tall handled Fritz Heckert enamelled Vase in iridised green with polychrome enamelling depicting pomegranates on leafy branches over a stylised sea like freeze in yellow and deep blue. Fully signed in enamel on the base FH for Fritz Heckert and MR for the designed Max Rade. The vase is hand blown and hand tooled making it a little irregular.

Stunning, small, open top globe like Fritz Heckert iridised Vase -Green banded over brightly iridised orange yellow- Designed by Heckert's protégé and Son-in-Law Otto Thamm -The pattern is called Changeant. The iridisation and combed decoration is second to none (previously these were thought to be by Loetz -until the original design books were discovered and researched). The vase is hand blown and hand tooled to give a cute thee sided opening with pull downs at the corners.
