Three English sterling silver and cut glass bottles
English, circa 1900
Measures: Largest height 24.5cm, diameter 10cm
Middle height 23cm, diameter 9cm
Smallest height 21cm, diameter 8cm
This set of three bottles contains two of bulbous form and one of conical shape. Each bottle is wrought from sterling silver and cut glass, the glass beautifully faceted and the silver adorned with a variety of scrolling motifs. The silver throughout is marked with indistinct makers’ marks, the marks for sterling silver, and date marks for the years 1898 and 1900.
