Tiffany glass and decorating New York Circle 1890 “GIVING”

About the Item

This beautiful window was purchased approximately 30 years ago for $35,000. It is a very nice example of Tiffany’s work during “Tiffany glass and decorating New York” during the late 1800s. It is listed in the installations in the back of the Tiffany window book but Alastair Duncan came from the Holland church in Pennsylvania

Unusual example of an olive green two handled enamelled vase by Harrach, depicting two classical figures: one a bearded warrior and the other a older woman, both in white over orange. The vase is additionally finely enamel decorated around the top and on the back with stylised patterns. The two handles are hot applied. Harrach has been the backbone of Bohemian, and possibly European, glass for the last 300 years. It proudly celebrated its tri-centenary in 2012.
