About the Item

This stunning and abstract figure signed Orrefors graal glass bowl is by the noted Swedish designer: Gunnar Cyren. It is from 1968. The colors are spectacular and the abstract dancer like figures become dimensional. The graal technique is not etched nor engraved by ground onto the piece of glass. It is etched Sweden Orrefors Graal #623-68 with artist signature. Gunnar Cyren was a Swedish glass artist, silversmith and Industrial designer. He worked for Orrefors glassworks between 1959 and 1970. He then returned to the glass company in 1977. His life span was 1931-2013. The is a very special glass bowl that will fit any home be it modern or more transitional. When put to the light the colors are brilliant. This is akin to a piece of art in glass form. This is an amazing collectable hand blown glass vintage bowl and can also be used for serving.
