About the Item
Beautiful antique Murano hand blown large Millefiori Murrina flower mosaic Italian art glass water pitcher and under plate. Documented to the Fratelli Toso company, circa 1910-1930. The pitcher is made of bright yellow and white honeycomb murrines, and dark purple with white flower murrines. Great contrasting colors. The rim of the pitcher has a back trim. The inside of the plate has a satin finish. Would make a great display piece on shelf, or table. Use it to water your plants at home, or as a vase with spring flowers. Mid-century era. Art Nouveau - Art Deco era. This is a larger than normal set. Pitcher measures 5 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" across the handle x 4" wide. Plate measures 6 3/4" across.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. The bottom of the pitcher has a pontil mark made of little glass dots under the base. This makes the pitcher wobble a bit when first placed on a flat surface. Inherent to the creation process on older antique pieces like this one.
