This large Mid-Century Modern (1979) cast aluminum Arthur Court Whale fish serving tray, ice bucket, or vine cooler will be the conversation piece at your next dinner party! Carefully crafted - casted and embossed in silvered metal- and incredible detailed, this vintage gorgeous and whimsical sealife collection serving platter is made up of three separate pieces. The whale-shaped covered serving dish features a large removable lid shaped like a mighty mother whale, decorated with red carnelian colored glass eyes. The whale rests upon a bespoke matching stand casted as a fitted figural base featuring whale babies interspersed with crashing waves in the manner of late Edo period Japanese prints. This wonderful large centerpiece is finely crafted and detailed of cast aluminum with defined detailing. Add whimsical nature-inspired style to any festive table setting with this fabulous highly collectible and sought after embossed silvered metal whale tureen. Fill it with crushed ice and a layer of raw seafood like stone crab claws, shrimp, oysters or champagne or prosecco bottles and let’s the party started! This collection piece is perfect for coastal homes everywhere or the desirable gift for adventurous seafood lover.
