Early 19th Century Large English Flow Blue Ironstone Platter

About the Item

Spectacular English Regency Ironstone Platter with flow blue decorations. Large and substantial piece 17.5 x 14 x 1.75 deep and heavy, very well made is an understatement. Beautiful flow blue decorations include a farmer peasant transporting water alongside a bridge to the gardens with delicate latticework. Along the border of the Platter is a scalloped decoration. Intense deep blue which reveals itself much better in person. In excellent antique condition with minimal wear, only a manufacturer flaw which is pictured. Stamped, Embossed Ironstone on the underside. Other pieces from this collection to follow.
