Circa 1830-48 large Mason's ironstone red scale Chinoiserie jug or pitcher, English. Marked in black: Mason's Patent Ironstone China; with swag banner & crown. Octagonal with twig handle. A conversation group on each side by a tea house. Burnt orange hydra scale sides & rim border. Good overall condition, various glaze misses & imperfections typical of these pieces. 6" over handle, 5 1/8" d., 6 3/8" h.
