Early 21st century pottery flower stem vase by Daniel Johnston, Seagrove, NC. A stately example in earthy green to brown tones influenced by his travels to Thailan; this vase displays traditional Thai ceramic glaze colors, as well as coil construction. "D" mark. His work is well documented & written about including a book in 2020 by Henry Glassie & an installation exhibition at the NC Museum of Art.
