French Provincial 19th Century Pottery Cooking Pot with Partial Green Glaze

About the Item

A French Provincial spheroidal pottery cooking pot from the 19th century with green glazed accents, molded handle and tripod base. Created in Southern France during the 19th century, this pottery cooking pot features a circular mouth adorned with a green glaze also covering the inside. The tapering belly however, is mostly unglazed, only to be accented with a large green dripping. The back comprises of a molded handle and the ensemble is resting on a tripod base. Boasting a nicely weathered appearance with some age cracks, this French Provincial pottery cooking pot from the 19th century will make for a charming decorative addition to any home, particularly placed in a kitchen, living room or dining room!
