Large Carstens 1960s Mid-Century Modern West German Ceramic Pottery Vase Bamboo
About the Item
Large ceramic vase made in Germany by Cartens in the 1960s with a very beautiful Bamboo design.
Carstens only produced copies in limited amounts of each design.
Stamped underneath with the production series and “W. GERMANY” mark.
Carstens manufactured vases from red brown clay. Carstens clearly signed its products with two ingrained small houses with the letters T and C underneath, followed by a shape number plus a figure indicating the height in centimetres and the words ‘W.-Germany’.
