Franco Munari Bassano Sandwich Board-Made in Italy

About the Item

Franco Munari Bassano-Made in Italy 14" sandwich board or serving tray. Featuring vibrant hand-painted grappa or grape scenes. This is a hand painted ceramic serving tray with no visible imperfections to our knowledge. Franco Munari Bassano pieces are all created in Bassano del Grappa, a picturesque town at the foothills of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park on the northern side of Italy. This is a town with a long history or ceramic production, especially popularized by their hand-painted pieces. With the fact that hand painted ceramics need to be well taken care, and seeing that this sandwich board or serving tray has a no imperfections, we can safely assume this has never been used and only sat on display. Although not stated on the back, hand-washing is recommended to preserve the design and finish of this hand-painted ceramic. Let us know if you have any questions or would like additional photos. Thank you.
