Decorated in blue on a white background with an exuberant blue illustration in transferware, composed of a central floral arrangement featuring a pheasant elegantly perched among branches and flowers. The same floral pattern continues along the edge, creating a harmonious frame.
The ‘Pheasant’ decoration is one of the Sacavém factory's most traditional, harking back to the Victorian style, influenced by 19th century English ceramics. This piece is an example of the excellence of Portuguese faience,
