1935 Christofle Art Deco silver plate sauceboat or Gravy Boat with Swan ladle combined conforming to the shape of a swan, Gallia Collection, designed by Christian Fjerdingstad for Christofle, France. The Sauceboat on oval shaped footed base with wavy design motif, plain oval shaped body with slightly tapering flat tail. The ovoid ladle with plain tapering neck stem and swan face handle. Overall Length: 11.5 inches Height of Sauceboat: 2.5 inches. Gravy Boat: Length: 8 x 4 x 2.5 inches Height. Swan Spoon: Length: 8.25 x 2 x 1.25 inches Height. Sauceboat and Spoon marked Gallia and stamped with the Christofle France Mark. In good vintage condition, some patina to the Silver Plate and surface wear.
