About the Item
This antique hot water urn or server is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from England and date to approximately 1880 and done in a Georgian style. This urn is composed of copper with a silver plated finish with tapered sides and raised decoration in a ribbed pattern down the lower portion of the sides and there are stylized figural lion mounts on either side accenting the handles. The top features a stylized berry handle and the urn sits on four bun feet.
