Antique Pair French Doublé Wine Coolers 19th Century
About the Item
This is an exceptional pair of antique French Silver Plated on copper wine coolers bearing the mark of the renowned silversmith / plaqueur, GD, circa 1830 in date.
The wine coolers stand on a widespread circular pedestal bases and the bodies rims and handles are embellished with applied grape vine decoration.
Each cooler is fitted with a removable lid and liner.
Add some classic French style to your home with this lovely pair of coolers.
Condition:
In excellent condition. As antique items, the coolers show minor signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, they display beautifully.

This is an exceptional pair of antique English silver plated wine coolers by the renowned silversmith Hawksworth, Eyre & Co of Sheffield, circa 1870 in date.
The wine coolers stand on circular pedestal bases with decorative Faustian masque handles and bodies which are masterfully embellished with grape vine decoration.
Each cooler is fitted with a removable lid and liner and the lids are engraved with crests of a bull.
Add some classic elegance to your home with this lovely decorative pair of coolers.
