20th Century Italian Art Nouveau - Liberty replica Sterling Silver - Cruet Set
About the Item
Set of Art Nuoveau - Liberty replica of oil cruet, parmesan bowl and salt/pepper in 925 Sterling silver made in Milan. Italy, late 20th century.
The whole set was made by hand, modeling the small trays of the oil cruet, the parmesan bowl and the salt and pepper.
Subsequently, feet made with the fusion technique were welded onto the cruet and the salt and pepper.
Then on all three trays silver acanthus leaves were welded as an ornament, also made with the fusion technique.
The small "cages" suitable for containing the crystals of the entire set are in fretwork fusion, recalling designs of flowers, stylized leaves and scrolls.
The parmesan bowl has a smooth lid with an "olive" handle.
Even the small oil, vinegar, salt and pepper tops are sterling silver.
Precious crystals with cut design have been placed in this set, such as to bring out the elegance of the whole set and ensure further brilliance.
