In French second standard silver.
By Louis Mathey, the renowned French Art Deco silversmith.
In the form of a flat cut dog body with soldered legs and clogs (or klompen shoes). The dog has a raised tail, raised ears, and appears to hold a ball in its mouth.
Simply a wonderful piece of figural French Deco silver!
