About the Item

Lovely, Art Deco, sterling silver-mounted powder jar, Foster and Bailey, providence, Rhode Island, circa 1920s-1930s. Sterling silver lid is "tuxedo striped" and has black enamel design. Cartouche is monogrammed with Art Deco lettering. Jar has thumbprint pattern around upper edge and has an etched floral design. Measures: 4 1/2" diameter x 2 1/2" high. Excellent condition.
