An exceptional, fine and impressive contemporary cast sterling silver stirrup cup modeled in the form of a dog's head, an addition to our diverse silver drinking vessels collection. This exceptional contemporary sterling silver stirrup cup has been realistically modeled in the form of a hunting hound/Finnish Spitz. The surface of this cast cup incorporates details to reproduce the canine's facial features and fur. This Sheffield silver stirrup cup is encircled with a plain border to the posterior surface. The dog has been related to a Finnish Spitz due to the characteristics of the facial features in addition for their use within hunting. Condition This Sheffield silver stirrup cup is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
