Edwardian period, sterling silver and leather-mounted glass flask, The Alvin Corp., Providence, Rhode Island, 1908. Bottom of flask, the inside of which is gilded, is removable and can be used as a drinking cup. It is monogrammed with an Old English letter S and the year 1908. The flask measures 5 1/4 inches high x a little under 3 inches wide (at widest point) x 1 1/8 inches deep. . Leather, which is in excellent antique condition, has a long, oval opening on both sides through which one can see how much liquid is left in the flask. Dark spots in photos are reflections. In excellent antique condition.
