About the Item

Elegant, festive silver vessel with a three-part architectural design: Elongated boat-shaped base with low, flared sides, cut out at the bottom and resting on eight points on the floor, giving the body a floating lightness. A raised central body set back in the middle in the form of a rectangular jardinière with slatted walls and a slightly curved upper edge decorated with small balls, flanked at the front and back by two pillars decorated with large balls and featuring false portals with triangular pediments above oval panels. On the outside, at the four corner pillars of the garden, are four fully sculpted Art Nouveau beauties with long hair in floor-length, elegantly pleated dresses, standing with their hands holding the ends of the leaf festoons surrounding the enclosure. On both sides of the fenced-in centerpiece, three-sided hollows are sunk into the base, bordered by small pillars bearing small balls, connected by fully sculpted leaf festoons. Three matching glass inserts with upper edges adapted to the contours of the vessels and carved steinel and fan decorations on the edges protruding from the silver vessels, as well as carved base decorations.
