Finely Cut Glass Decanter With Silver Mount, Wilkens & Sons Germany, 1909

Elegant large carafe made of clear glass with a conical body, glass wall vertically cut with regular jagged facets on the outside, jagged ridges rounded off by a delicate lenticular cut resembling pearl necklaces, cut bottom star, smooth silver mount with straight J-shaped handle, beak-shaped spout with straight hinged lid with ball as thumb rest. - Crescent + Crown - German official hallmark from 1888 - 800 - fineness - Screw press - Manufacture brand for M. H.
