Description George III sterling silver teapot, Paul Storr, London, 1810. Sterling silver teapot with a low, compact shape. Contoured gadroon edges at both the top and base of the teapot. A coat of arms is engraved on the front Lid fitted with a flush hinge and topped with a round knob. Sterling silver marked with 5 punches: Logo manufacturer: Paul Storr Passing lion: league mark. 925/1000 sterling title guarantee check Leopard head with crown: city of London Date letter year: 1810 Duty Mark: King George III head Dimensions HxWxD: 12.5cm x 27cm x 13.5cm Weight Gross weight: 712g Provenance Private Collection ■Condition Slight signs of weather wear and surface scratches. The five punches are present at the base of the teapot. Manufacturer's logo punches, lion through and date letter year are present at the base of the lid.
