Magnificent English Victorian Sterling Silver Tea Caddy - 1896
About the Item
An outstanding top-quality tea caddy made from a good gauge of solid silver weighing in at 276 Grams / 8.90 Troy Ounces, a lovely solid and heavy example.
Beautifully decorated with reticulated skirt detailing and a lavishly gilded interior. Both the box and lid are both fully hallmarked for London 1896 together with the makers mark for Hawksworth, Eyre & Co.
Superb condition measuring 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 6" tall.
