Pair of Los Castillo Signed Mexican Sterling Cream and Sugar with Lapis Birds
About the Item
A stunning and rare pair of sterling silver Los Castillo cream and sugar. The Mexican Silver is made in Taxco Mexico by the iconic Los Castillo. Hand made with a hammered quality. The pieces ability to easily go from obscure to one of the most stunning pieces with its use of lapis lazuli birds that sit to the right or left. Each Bird is Lapis, lined with a brass edge, the beak is also brass. Due to the pieces hand made characteristics, no two pieces or sets will be exactly alike. The spoon, while matching very well, is actually a silver piece made in England. The set is one of our favorites, for sure!
WE consider the pieces rare as they are difficult to find. The pair are a compliment to any breakfast table, decorative shelf or even used in the bar! a stunning pair, ready for conversation and tweeting.
