This elegant pair of sterling silver bud vases is crafted in the form of loving cups, a style historically symbolic of unity and celebration. Each vase exhibits a harmonious balance of delicate proportions and refined ornamentation, embodying the grace of early 20th-century silverwork.
The vases take on the traditional loving cup silhouette: a deep, tapering bowl that flares gently at the rim, set upon a short, narrow pedestal that broadens into a circular foot for stability. This form, while rooted in ceremonial design, is adapted here to serve as graceful containers for single floral stems. On either side of each vase are twin scroll handles, curving upward and outward in a flowing, classical design.
