Raphael Pattern by Alvin Sterling Silver Baby Food Pusher, 3", Art Nouveau. Food Pushers started in Victorian society when it was rude for anyone, even children, to touch food with their hands. Kids were given food pushers to help them rake their dinner onto their fork. This has never been engraved.

Exceptionally rare silver overlay vase by Alvin Mfg Co. of Providence Rhode Island from the late 19th century.
This vase is a tour de force of Art Nouveau silver work on glass. The intricate sterling floral base design is overlaid onto the emerald green glass and is finely etched and detailed. Then, above these swirling Art Nouveau florals which wrap around the vase, are vines sprouting three dimensional blown out poppies throughout.
