Repoussé Coffee Pot made in Edinburgh, Scotland by James & William Marshall

About the Item

This handsome coffee pot was made by James & William Marshall in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1843. The repoussé work is exceptional. Large cartouche on either side one containing a scrolled ciphered monogram. There is one very small dimple in the large side cartouche not monogrammed. Fully hallmarked on the side; J & W M-James & William Marshall Queen Victoria’s profile in oval cartouche-Victorian period Thistle & Castle- Edinburgh, Scotland Small letter “m” in cartouche-year letter for 1843 H-10.5” W-9.25” D-6” 32.17 troy ozs.
