About the Item

This beautifully crafted silver bracelet, made in Yemen circa 1900, is an exquisite example of refined traditional jewelry designed with both elegance and functionality in mind. The bracelet features a smooth, polished interior to ensure comfort against the skin, while the outer surface is richly adorned with a harmonious and intricate design. The decoration is composed of a rhythmic pattern of quatrefoil motifs, set along the upper and lower portions of the band. At the center, a continuous row of diamond-shaped elements is interspersed with delicate granulated rosettes, creating a vibrant interplay of geometric precision and organic texture. At the front of the bracelet, a large, finely wrought rosette flower conceals the hinge mechanism where a pin is inserted to securely fasten the bracelet. A second hinge is incorporated at the back, allowing the band to spread gently open, making it easy to fit gracefully around the arm. 1.01ozt
