About the Item

A striking example of Judaica artistry by renowned silversmith Henryk Winograd, this bold silver pendant is crafted in repousse technique and exhibits the artist’s signature style of deeply defined relief and ornamental richness. Formed in a thick, stepped triangular shape with a diamond-like orientation, the pendant presents at center a powerful rampant lion, symbol of strength and the tribe of Judah, worked in dramatic high relief. The lion is surrounded by elegant flowing foliate scrollwork in an Art Nouveau-inspired fashion, enhancing the dynamic composition and creating a sense of movement and energy across the surface. A small pierced hole at the top is fitted with a discreet loop attachment, allowing the pendant to be suspended from a chain and worn as a statement piece of Judaica jewelry.
