An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Elizabeth II English sterling silver cheroot case made by Boodle & Dunthorne; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver cheroot case has an octagonal prism form. The surface of this vintage silver box is ornamented with impressive panels of engine turned decoration. Either end of the box is plain and unembellished. This vintage case retains the original sprung hinged hallmarked cover, with opens to reveal two gilded compartments. The interior of the cover retains the original gilding. By virtue of its size this versatile box could be used for a multitude of functions, including holding pencils/pens. Condition This vintage silver cheroot case is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The engine turned decoration is very sharp.
