A Silver Star of David Pendant, Henryk Winograd, Judaica, New York, 20th Century

About the Item

A striking and richly detailed silver Judaica pendant by renowned repoussé master Henryk Winograd, crafted in a rounded diamond form and displaying Winograd’s signature artistry in both design and symbolism. At the center of the pendant is a boldly embossed Star of David, rendered in high relief and framed against a textured pockmarked background that gives the design visual depth and an almost radiant appearance. The surrounding border is elegantly stepped and raised, giving the piece a sculptural and dimensional presence. The border features C-scroll motifs at each corner, along with foliate Art Nouveau-style scrollwork at the base, lending the pendant a graceful and flowing aesthetic. The fusion of classical Judaic symbolism with decorative flourishes reflects Winograd’s masterful approach to repoussé silversmithing. A small hole at the top, fitted with a silver loop, allows the pendant to be worn around the neck as a meaningful and beautifully crafted item of wearable Judaica. An expressive and timeless piece, showcasing Henryk Winograd’s dedication to fine silverwork and the preservation of Jewish artistry. .40ozt
