A small silver chamber candle stick with a separate candle extinguisher, which is hung with a hook.
With slide in the stem to raise the candle.
The rotary knob in the shape of a four-leaf clover has been opened to lock the slide.
Shows some scratches in the base

This fine antique Victorian sterling silver Chamberstick (chamber candlestick) has a plain circular form in the George I style.
The well is plain and unembellished, encompassed with a plain elevated border.
The plain cylindrical capital retains the original detachable hallmarked sconce ornamented with a plain applied moulded border.
This antique chamberstick is fitted with a stylized Trefid pattern handle, embellished with two contemporary bright cut engraved crests of a squirrel sejant eating a nut to the right of an elephant and castle.
The underside of the handle features a decorative rounded socket.
