About the Item

Exceptional tea/coffee spoons set of 12 pieces with embellishments and bowls where the inside is covered with gold 18-karat. The pieced handles have Japonisme style with sculpted dragons. Pieces with Japonisme decoration are not common and these pieces in particular have quality and finesse that is rarely seen. No monograms. Boar's head for 800/1000 French sterling silver guarantee. The quality of the gold used to recover sterling silver is a minimum of 750 mils (18K). Prestigious silversmith: Gustave Veyrat. 7 rue du Perche, Paris He was active from March 16, 1894 to September 7, 1911. Suffice it to say that the family Veyrat was active in the silversmithing from 1820-1911 to glimpse the importance of this manufactory! They exhibited and received prizes in almost all the national and international exhibitions. Starting with a bronze medal at the Exposition d'industrie francaise in 1827 for their fine cutlery; they also won awards in 1834, 1839, 1844, 1849, 1853, 1855, 1861, 1863, 1867 and in 1878 in Paris when Veyrat father was a member of the jury for silverware.
