Vintage Sterling Silver Bird Napkin Rings (1992)
About the Item
An exceptional, fine and impressive, set of six vintage English sterling silver bird napkin rings - boxed; an addition to our animal related silverware.
These exceptional vintage sterling silver napkin rings have a desirable wishbone-shaped form.
Each napkin ring is ornamented with an embossed and applied bird ornament including: a pheasant, a duck, a grouse, a snipe, an owl and a kingfisher*.
Each model is embellished with details reproducing the definition of the bird's feathers and anatomical features.
These impressive silver game bird napkin rings are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, fitted with a velvet and satin lined interior.
NOTE: * Whilst these birds have been determined as specific breeds, there are other variants which may be applicable.
Condition
These vintage silver bird napkin rings are an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each napkin ring are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of vintage silverware.
