About the Item

Charming set of knife rests, made of high-quality opal glass, manufactured by the famous French glass manufacturer Sabino in the 1920s, in the Art Deco period. The set consists of six different animals on different bases. The set includes a dachshund, a butterfly, a squirrel, a frog, ducks, and a snail. The different bases are carefully tailored to the different animals – the squirrel, for example, sits on a tree trunk and the frog by a small pond. Measurements approx. between: height 3,54 in - 9 cm to 3,94 in - 10 cm, width 1,18 in - 3 cm to 1,77 in - 4,5 cm, depth 0,79 in - 2 cm to 1,10 in - 2,8 cm Each piece is signed Sabino France on the bottom. An exceptionally decorative set of knife rests made of high-quality opal glass from the Art Deco period by Sabino.
