About the Item
This piece is part of the series of sculptural spoons made by Ferréol Babin. Made of magnolia brought back from a trip to Japan, this spoon required many hours of work. It was entirely hand carved with a gouge for the inner part and a kiridashi - Japanese slicer - for the outer part and the handle. Only a layer of oil was applied to preserve the raw aspect of the wood. Unique piece.
This piece is made and assembled in France.
