Impressive Pair of Antonio Pineda Silver Candlesticks
About the Item
Pair of modernist design candlesticks by master silversmith Antonio Pineda. One candlestick is marked". 999 silver not solid Pineda Taxco S.A. de C.V." The metal is silver over a base metal, probably copper, one stick shows two very slight loss at top where you can see the base metal (see pictures). Very unusual to find the metal work pieces, particularly the tableware from this recognized figure. Interior opening approx. 1.25".
