About the Item
The Donut collection draws its inspiration from the world of baking. Designer Pia Chevalier arouses our senses with this collection of appetising cups and mugs. The pieces’ oversized handle imitates the shape of a doughnut and the enamelling echoes the flavour of the glazing.
Made in Portugal, the large Donut mug is 12cm high – the biggest and boldest piece of the collection. It is available in Vanilla and Pistachio only, and can be used both to enjoy a drink or as an object of decoration.

Pia Chevalier
Pia Chevalier is a French contemporary designer, trained in design and crafts and more specifically, on the sets and surface treatments, at Boulle School, in Paris, France. She has her own workshop in the goldsmith's shop, the former premises of Christofle. She gives way to total spontaneity in the creative process and the composition of her pieces. Her love for raw materials incites her to constantly transform them, for the purpose of unique sculptural pieces creation. Focused on the object of daily life, it gives it a status of sculpture capable of arousing emotion and creating an emotional bond. Her obsession is to give solemnity to these objects and make them endearing. Her works have been sold to prestigious collections and institutions globally.
