About the Item

The earliest eggcup was found among the ruins of Pompeii. The eggcup didn't reappear again until the Elizabethan era and then popularized in France by Louis XV and Louis XVI while holding court during breakfast and brunch. Although its use continued in Europe, it's still uncommon in the US today. It's time to bring this wonderful item back to the table and make eating the humble egg into a memorable experience. The pyramid eggcup and toastholder is part of a six-piece collection of modern eggcups that have been 3D printed in porcelain. Designed in 2016 and manufactured in the US. Made to order. Food safe. Hand wash. Price doesn't include shipping and tax.
