Sustainable Volcanic Ceramic Bowl Handbuilt in Lithuania

About the Item

Charred Edge Ceramic Bowl — Ash Texture Meets Golden Calm Dimensions: Approx. 15 cm diameter × 8 cm height Origin: Lithuania Material: Stoneware with blackened exterior and pale yellow glaze Firing: 100% solar & wind energy One of a kind This handcrafted ceramic bowl fuses opposing elements into one elegant, sculptural form. The deeply textured, charcoal-black exterior mimics the roughness of scorched earth or volcanic ash. In contrast, the interior is finished with a high-gloss golden-yellow glaze, soft and radiant like candlelight reflecting in a cave. The piece is formed and fired in a solar- and wind-powered studio in rural Lithuania, rooted in the belief that art can be beautiful and responsible. No part of this bowl is machine-made or duplicated—it’s entirely shaped by hand and intuition. ⸻ Why collectors love this bowl: • Bold contrast – A natural tension between raw and refined, darkness and light. • Eco-conscious craftsmanship – Created using only renewable energy, with no fossil fuels. • Functional art – Display it as a statement piece, or use it as a serving bowl or centerpiece. • Tactile magic – The porous, volcanic-like surface invites both curiosity and admiration. ⸻ “This piece is a balance of fire and softness—earthy in its texture, gentle in its glow. It holds more than objects; it holds a quiet philosophy of care.” — The Artist ⸻ Bring home a vessel that feels as ancient as stone and as fresh as sunrise. Art with meaning, from the land — for your table, your shelf, your story.
