We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare circa 1800 Dutch inlaid wine cooler with original brass bucket and single drawer A rare, collectable and good looking antique which fits well in any setting. This piece has exquisite marquetry inlay all over, the front has a bird sitting in flowers, you then have flowers all over, the handles are oversized wouldn’t look out of place on a grand French bureau This piece is around 220 years old, as such it has various timber age shrinkage splits, some small losses and so on, if it were in perfect order it wouldn’t be genuine, this piece looks as good as it should with a patina to match, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom Dimensions Height:- 46cm Width:- 38.5cm Depth:- 38.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
