A fantastic, quite unique and rare early work by famed American studio potter Rose Cabat who became well known for her ceramic "feelies" and use of innovative glazes. These formative early pieces are very scarce. This piece is signed by Cabat on the base.     Wear consistent with age and use. In very good vintage condition with light natural wear (please see photos). Has a small glaze flake, likely in the making, on the underside of the base which is not uncommon for works of this age and can not be seen when the piece is displayed.
